Posh Boutique





Posh is an upscale Nashville-based clothing boutique for men and women. They’re known for bring together a unique collection of the best brands, the latest fashions, and signature finds to help you define and express your unique style. With 3 locations, Posh has been Nashville’s go-to clothing boutique since 1997, and contacted me in hopes of giving their brand a new look. They have big plans for the future and needed a brand identity that they were proud, but also a brand system that they could implement across several different channels.

Posh had only sold women’s clothes until a few years ago, so they updated their old mark to represent both markets that they now sell to. My challenge was to create a brand identity that achieved this without being too representative or direct. I wanted to create a custom wordmark that could resonate with all of Posh’s customers. The ‘S’ has unique curves that represent a silhouette or a fashion model’s figure. The mark has a a general geometric quality about it, which gives it incredible flexibility.

Custom geometric patterns will be implemented in several different areas across the brand. For the retail shopping bags, I wanted to make a pattern that felt like all of the lights at a big fashion show.
